We are
Unforgotten
Butterflies
Unforgotten Butterflies was founded in 2010 with the goal of raising awareness about the plight of comfort women during World War II and promoting justice, recognition and healing for survivors.
Our
Impact
Through educational presentations, memorial initiatives, social media campaigns and community forums, we have been able to raise awareness about comfort women to thousands within our local area. We actively work to dispel myths and challenge the denialist narrative.
Educate to prevent future injustice.
Our mission is to raise global awareness of the tragedy endured by comfort women, acknowledge their shared humanity and right to dignity, and work towards reconciliation through education, advocacy and compassion.
